Neptune's Rest Guest House is within easy walking distance of the centre of Stranraer. We are within easy walking distance of the Ferry Terminal, (Stena Ferry Times Here - P&O Ferry Times Here) town centre shops, local bars and restaurants offering a wide range of cuisine, and Agnew Park, with its boating lake and children's play area is just across the road. The new Hospital is about ten minutes' walk from our Guest House.

Loch Ryan itself is a stone's throw from our front door, and affords stunning views up the loch towards Aisla Craig and the Isle of Arran. Locally, we have many events of throughout the summer. Eating out locally offers plenty of opportunity to sample the local produce - fresh Scottish produce in season.

Stranraer  has a range of restaurants offering British, Chinese, Indian, Turkish and Italian dishes, whilst the town centre has a variety of eateries serving pizza, kebabs, fish and chips, light snacks, curries, and bar meals to suit all pockets.
